Learn skills needed to take care of yourself, your family and neighbors in the event of an emergency. Frisbie Memorial Hospital are sponsoring a Community Emergency Preparedness course which meets Wednesdays, Jan. 25 through Feb. 23, 6:30-8:30pm, and on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 8:30am-4pm at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
The free, five week course includes topics such as disaster preparedness, disaster psychology, fire safety, safety strategies Involved in a terrorist incident, Incident Command Systems, light search and rescue, as well as first aid and CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
