Making the New Hampshire Return to Work Program Work for You
The NH Return to Work initiative is part two of a three-part initiative to help workers. The Return to Work program allows eligible unemployed claimants to continue to receive their unemployment benefits while receiving up to 6 weeks of on-the-job training.
Learn how this training opportunity provides employers a no cost, "no strings attached" opportunity to understand the knowledge, skills and abilities that a claimant possesses.
Gary Whitmarsh of New Hampshire Employment Security will provide an overview of the program. In addition, you will learn why employers should participate and how to get started. You will also learn how to find trainees and what their responsibilities are as well as restrictions of the program.
This free to attend event allow businesses the opportunity to network and to "link" among each other. The networking begins at 11:30am with the presentation beginning at noon. After the presentation, attendees will be able to provide a "snippet" about their business. There may be an additional networking period after the presentation as time permits.
