CHAMBER NEWS

A MESSAGE FROM CARL POTVIN
2010 CHAMBER CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

What an honor it is to serve as the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce's Chairman of the Board in 2010. I have been delighted with my involvement in the Chamber, having served on several committees and assisting with various activities.

Rochester has been my home and where I chose to locate my practice 21 years ago. My business is known as The Law Office of Carl W. Potvin, P.C. The Chamber has proven to be a very rewarding experience for me and my business.

I look forward to working with Chamber members in the coming year. Chamber membership is an affordable and smart way to promote business. The Chamber offers many benefits that can serve our respective business interests.

As Chairman of the Board, it is my intention to work with the board of directors and staff in making sure that we continue to provide opportunities beneficial to the community. We will also work together to obtain and communicate information to our members on issues that could impact business.

I am available anytime to discuss how we might better serve your business needs and make sure 2010 is a successful year for your business and our Chamber.

Carl W. Potvin, 2010 Chairman of the Board

THE CHAMBER LINKS

Come and meet fellow business people with The Chamber Links networking groups. The Chamber Links networking meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday from 11:30am-1pm each month at the Granite Steak & Grill located at 11 Farmington Road (Route 11) in Rochester.

The goal of Chamber Links is to introduce and make business connections with business professionals in a casual and facilitated setting. This networking opportunity provides members and guests a chance to give a 60 second snippet about their business. In addition, one member will be afforded the opportunity to give a 10 minute on-stage presentation at each meeting. The member on-stage will also be given a choice of additional free advertising on either the website or the Chamber newsletter.

On-stage presentations are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Call Elaine at 332-5080.
