MISSION
The mission of Leadership Greater Rochester is to develop leaders through participation
in community awareness activities designed to encourage participation
in an active leadership role to benefit the future vitality
of the greater Rochester area.
ABOUT LEADERSHIP GREATER ROCHESTER
Developed by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Greater Rochester Program was launched to foster development of those interested in becoming more educated and involved in their community and develop future leaders in the greater Rochester area. Class participants come from various backgrounds to offer a diverse group bringing a wealth of experience.
The purpose of Leadership Greater Rochester is to foster professional growth and identify leaders in the greater Rochester area.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Leadership Greater Rochester program is a comprehensive five session program, provided by the Leadership Greater Rochester organization, that meets once a month from January through May at various locations in the greater Rochester area.
Each session will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and includes lunch. Registration is at 7:45 am. Experiential assignments are assigned at each session to be conducted prior to the next session.
Class sessions cover all topics crucial to running a community. Signature topics vary from Arts & Culture, City Government, Criminal Justice, Economic Development, Education, Health & Human Services, Non-Profit and more, with sessions that provide opportunities for participants to meet many community leaders including local and state officials as well as tours of various facilities. Sessions will consist of a Q&A panel with experts in the field. The classes are geared towards fostering a professional career and helping to build a network with city and state leaders.
Leadership Greater Rochester provides networking opportunities and the people involved can be a great resource. Participants will learn new things about their community and build new connections.
Tuition of $500 may be paid by the participant or their employer.
