In response to COVID-19, Atlantic Broadband until further notice will not terminate service to any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, they will waive any late fees any residential or small business customers might normally incur because of their economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic. City of Rochester

City of Rochester announces that the City of Rochester’s Revenue Building has re-opened to the public following a prolonged closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The building will remain open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. going forward, though on a modified schedule. Doors will be locked at 4:45 p.m. daily. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, the facility will only be open to seniors aged 60 and up, who are among most at-risk for serious illness due to COVID-19. COAST

Effective Monday, June 1, COAST will resume service on Route 41cc, and transition Route 40 and 41 from the current Saturday schedule to a new reduced weekday schedule. Community Action Partnership of Strafford County (CAPSC) is open to assist people impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Help is available to anyone in Strafford County and is wide ranging. ConvenientMD Urgent Care

ConvenientMD Urgent Care is available for you, in clinic or via Virtual Urgent Care (VUC). ConvenientMD is now offering COVID-19 testing for any patients showing symptoms of COVID-19. They are also testing asymptomatic healthcare workers, first responders, essential workers and anyone who has had close contact with someone who is confirmed to be COVID-19 positive. Cornerstone VNA is offering virtual Hospice Volunteer training sessions beginning in June. Volunteers provide comfort, support and reassuring presence to patients and family members in their communities. This comprehensive 8-week Hospice Volunteer Training program focuses on: The history of Cornerstone VNA, Hospice History and Philosophy, Volunteer Job Description, The Hospice Team, Medical and Psychosocial Aspects, Family Involvement, and Spiritual Care. NECC Boats are opening up the office to visits from the public with SOCIAL DISTANCING in effect on May 4. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask during a visit feel free to do so. Seacoast SCORE is open for business!

However, to protect our clients and volunteers, for the time being, our office in Portsmouth is NOT OPEN. Instead, we are providing virtual services: mentoring, on-line live workshops and all our regular resources using audio and video conferencing.  The success of your small business is important to us. With the recent news and concerns of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are sharing the latest business guidance, assistance and resources. Please read the following important update to Seacoast SCORE operations now in effect.

In-Person Events Are Suspended: Seacoast SCORE On-line Support Is live and available

The health of small business owners, their employees and our network of volunteers is our top priority. Effective immediately, Seacoast SCORE has suspended in-person events, including mentoring sessions and workshops, until further notice.

Local Workshops. Our upcoming workshops are being re-formatted to be held as live on-line workshops with our local mentors and subject matter experts here in the Seacoast SCORE chapter. If you’ve recently registered for a workshop, you will receive a status update soon. You can also contact us at the email address below if you have any questions.

Mentoring Sessions. Mentors are available to participate in remote mentoring sessions via phone, email and video conference (Zoom, Skype). If you already have a SCORE mentor, ask them if you can use a remote mentoring method for your sessions. If you don’t already have a mentor, you can find a business mentor today.

Service Credit Union resumed walk-in service and normal hours at all traditional branches in NH and Massachusetts on Monday, June 1st. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Rochester Voice will be adjusting The Voice’s annual subscription rate from $60 to $10 to help ensure Rochester area residents can get daily news updates about the crisis and all the other news from around the city.
